Biography
As a child I can remember many memorable forays into the bush and the wilds. We lived across the creek from nature's playground, no houses, no roads and lots of birds, plants, grubs and bugs. Photography was part of that growing process and from a fairly young age I had a Box-Brownie as my first camera. A grand introduction to looking at the world from a different perspective.
My love of birds started young as well. As a family we monitored and banded local natives and enjoyed seeing anything with feathers ... and wings for that matter. Birds were not the only things in the viewfinder.
I have been privileged to see so many different species and to capture their images and in doing so understand a lot more about them and their lives.

Throughout my life I have owned some sort of a camera and pointed it regularly at what I saw around me.

I do have other passions, family history; painting and drawing; crafty activities like sewing and sculpture; cooking jams, pickles and chutneys and collecting information (mainly about birds and food:})
But just over ten years ago Osprey became my passion and my obsession and that will continue until the end of my days.
